Welcome, and thank you for looking at my site. My name is John Seals. I own Seals Photography in Independence, Missouri. Let me tell you a little about myself, and my style of work. I picked up my first camera, an old Nikon F, when I was 14 years old. I started taking any classes I could, at school and from working professional photographers in the Kansas City area. I shot my first wedding during my senior year in high school, in 1974. I fell in love with wedding photography, and have been doing it ever since. After working for other photographers off and on for over 20 years, I opened Seals Photography in 1997.
My philosophy is simple: Quality images and service at prices that most people can afford. I believe that everyone should be able to have amazing images of their wedding, one of the most important days in most peoples lives. Photography is timeless, and one of the few ways to remember your special day. I offer small packages that will fit almost any budget, to all day coverage for large events. I deliver images on CD or DVD that are color corrected, touched up, and ready to print. I offer albums that are not only beautiful, but are made of high quality materials that will last for generations. My staff and I cover each wedding with two shooters and multiple cameras.
